I graduated today!

Dress: Geometrical Floral Pattern Thing from JC Penney
Shoes: Black Heels from Payless Shoes
Necklace: Silver Owl from JC Penney
Lipstick: Poppy from Bite Beauty
Cap and Gown: Black from University Bookstore

Look at the lift of the skirt in that twirl! The heels were a huge mistake for the ceremony but I lived. I can also assure the world that my cap looked a lot better on than in these pictures. I hadn’t bobby pinned it down for these. So happy I’m done with school.

Teaser for today’s outfit because I was so on point but don’t have Internet access to post all of it now.

Look at that ass.

Shirt: Black from Wal*Mart
Skirt: Robin’s Egg Blue from JC Penney
Shoes: Black Wedges from Payless Shoes
Necklace: Rocketship from CS Charms

I bought this skirt for $2 off of a JC Penney clearance rack. I’ve been dying to wear it. So I did.

Last Day of Finals: Outfit Two

Dress: Navy Floral by me
Shoes: Black Flats from Famous Footwear
Lipstick: Tannin by Bite Beauty

Last Day of Finals: Outfit One

Bodysuit: Black Strapless from Charlotte Russe
Skirt: Floral Khaki from Old Navy
Cardigan/Duster: Black from Old Navy
Necklace: Antique Brass Lightbulb by me
Shoes: Black Flats from Famous Footwear
Lipstick: Tanin from Bite Beauty

I have had the black duster from Old Navy since the early 2000s. It is honestly one of my favorite pieces of clothing ever. And the Charlotte Russe body suit was only $2. Hell yes to clearance racks. The Bite Beauty lipstick came in a palette of lipsticks. It was like $24 but one of my better beauty investments.

I was so cute tonight for my thesis presentation.

Dress: Floral from JC Penney
Cardigan: Coral from Dress Barn
Heels: Coral from Payless Shoes
Earrings: Vintage Roses from my mom
Necklace: Owl from JC Penney
Lipstick: Indie Flick from NYX Cosmetics

Also, my shoes and cardigan matched pretty perfectly even though they were bought over two years apart from each other. And the lipstick was a pretty close match, too.

I feel like I could teach a class in being a hot mess. Just saying.

Vest: Black and White Plaid from Wet Seal
Cami: Chartreuse from Target
Shorts: Jean from JC Penney
Tights: Black from JC Penney
Shoes: Black from Famous Footwear
Lipstick: “Indie Flick” by NYX from Target

Sorry I’ve been missing. Spring break then easter break then catching up on all my school and volunteer work.
Also, from walking across campus like this today, I’ve gotten so many dirty looks and heard people talking about me behind my back. Pretty sure I heard at least one “whore”. It’s super cute that you’re jealous of my confidence.

Channeling Silk Spectre a little today.
So many pictures of one outfit. Sorry.

Shirt: White Tank from JC Penney
Skirt: Yellow and Black from JC Penney
Tights: Black from JC Penney
Jacket: Super Dark Grey Duster from Old Navy
Boots: Black from Famous Footwear

The skirt was another $4 find on the clearance racks of JC Penney.

Loved this so much and it was super comfortable.
